Deb Muehleisen is the new vice president of resource development for the Pikes Peak United Way. She was director of development for Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for 11 years and was most recently engaged by the U.S. Census Bureau where she oversaw the establishment of community partnerships throughout southern Colorado to create awareness for the census.

In her new position with Pikes Peak United Way, Muehleisen will be responsible for the creation and execution of development strategies, which will aid the non-profit organization in improving lives within our local community, thus creating lasting change.

Innovative Financial Management has hired Steven Spanton as a financial adviser.

HB&A Architects and Planners has hired Jesse Beckom to its summer internship program. Jesse has a masters degree in community and regional planning from Iowa State University.

Advantage Manufacturing has named Rob Hampson as director of sales and marketing. He has more than 16 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Advantage Manufacturing, Hampson held a variety of similar positions at Excalibur Manufacturing, Lieb Precision Tool, Vertec Tool and Gehring Corp.

Kaiser Permanente has announced that Mark Iorio has been promoted to vice president, market expansion for the Colorado region. Iorio was CEO of Colorado Springs Health Partners before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2007.

Dr. Deepak Kuman Honaganahalli has joined Peak Vista Health Centers. He will provide care at Peak Vista’s Colorado Springs Senior Health Center, 722 S. Wahsatch St.

Citadel Broadcasting has named Jim Murphy as program director at KATC Cat Country 95.1 FM.

Rob Forest, a registered client service associate with the Colvert/Harvey Group at UBS, has recently passed The Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination.

Tom Devine has been named president of Diamond Materials Tech in Colorado Springs and will assume the position of CEO later this year when current CEO John Brenan retires. Devine previously was CEO of North Carolina-based Boon Edam and has held senior operational and general management roles at a variety of technology-based companies.

Tim Avila has joined commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor WeatherSure Systems as roof replacement superintendent. He has more than 21 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry.

Ent Federal Credit Union has hired Melissa Kerr as the business banker of the credit union’s south area service centers. Kerr has been in the financial services industry for more than 16 years and has served as the chair of the Pikes Peak chapter of the Colorado Credit Union Association. Most recently, she held the position of branch manager with Security Service Federal Credit Union.
