Insurance division launches small business guide

The Colorado Division of Insurance has launched a new program to aid new businesses with insurance needs.

The “Guide to Insurance for Small Business’ provides an overview to many types of insurance so business consumers can have all the information needed at their fingertips.

“Growth in small businesses is a critical element to Colorado’s economic health,” said John Postolowski, interim commissioner of insurance. “The guide to insurance is one of many resources Colorado is providing to enable new and small businesses to succeed.”

While businesses count on insurance to protect the investment in time, money and other resources, consumers are also protected when businesses are insured.

The new guide can be found on the division’s web site.
