Valentine withdraws name from PPCC president list

Dr. Ann Valentine, president of Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls in Minnesota, has withdrawn her name from consideration for the job as president of Pikes Peak Community College.

Valentine, who was one of three finalists for the position, said she has accepted another job.

The two remaining candidates are:

• Dr. Christine Chairsell, district vice president of academic and student affairs at Portland Community College in Oregon and
• Dr. Lance Bolton,  president of Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado.
