Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the nation’s second oldest motor sports event, has renewed its partnership with Race Central for promotion and news across the television, radio and web for 2011.

Race Central TV,  radio and webcasts are the production of Motorsports Media Group, founded by Kurt Hansen.

Hansen will be on hand Friday, June 24 in downtown Colorado Springs at the Fan Fest as an announcer for the gala pre-race event. The event brings more than 30,000 people each summer to meet the competitors and see the race cars.

The Hill Climb is staged on a 12.42 mile course with 156 turns. It begins at 9,390 feet and ends at the top of Pikes Peak.

Ticket prices start at $40, VIP admission is $80.
