SET Family Medical Clinics hired its first full-time medical director and is moving to a larger clinic on the east side of the St. Francis Health Center campus.
Dr. Natasha Koren is a family medicine doctor with experience in hospice and palliative care. She will direct the day-to-day operations of the clinic, and provide direct patient care at the safety net clinic.
The clinic is moving into space donated by Penrose-St. Francis Health Services that formerly housed its wound clinic. It has eight additional exam rooms.
SET serves uninsured and underinsured people in the Pikes Peak region. It provides same-day appointments 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from and evening appointments on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
