Office Depot will refund 115 Colorado government agencies and nonprofit in connection with the sale of office supplies between January 2006 and March 2009, according to reports from Attorney General John Suthers.

Under the agreement, Office Depot will refund up to $189,000. The AG alleges that the customers were placed on a higher-cost price plan either without their knowledge or without complete information about the cost differences between the price plans available to customers.

Office Depot denies any wrong-doing, and Suthers said the company fully cooperated with the investigation.

“I appreciate Office Depot’s willingness to work through these issues with my office,” Suthers said.

Office Depot will contact agencies eligible for refunds
