Minding Your Business
The Pikes Peak Library will host a class about starting or growing a business from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Penrose Library, 20 N. Cascade Ave. The class covers print sources, electronic databases and websites that will locate information on industry, competition, vendors, financials, marketing and demographics.

Salvation Army 5K Run/Walk for Hope
The 3rd Annual Salvation Army 5K Run/Walk for Hope is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 25 at The Flying Horse Barefoot Park, 2324 Diamond Creek Drive.
A donation of $35 is suggested. A free T-shirt and water bottle will be offered to participants.
