The Air Force Academy Board of Visitors is meeting to hear an update on the school’s academics, discipline and other matters.
The board will meet Friday and Saturday at the academy outside Colorado Springs.
Lt. Gen. Michael Gould, the academy superintendent, is expected to attend. Also expected are Daniel B. Ginsberg, assistant secretary of the Air Force for manpower and reserve affairs, and other officials from the Defense Department and the academy.
Most members are appointed by the president and congressional leaders. Two seats are reserved for the heads of the Senate and House Armed Services committees or someone they designate.
The panel’s previous meeting was in May in Washington.
