Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs announced the promotion of Joe Cunningham to director of business development for its contract division, which provides janitorial, commercial laundry and document imaging services to local government, corporate and medical organizations. Cunningham has 22 years experience in sales, marketing and operations management.

Community Partnership for Child Development Head Start director Noreen Landis-Tyson is one of 40 graduates of the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Head Start Management Fellows Program, an intensive two-week program, conducted at the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles. The program was developed in 1991 to strengthen the management skills of Head Start administrators.

Doug Brewer has been named vice president/senior business relationship manager at Key Bank. Brewer was previously with Wells Fargo. At Key Bank, Brewer will focus on business development for the Southern Colorado region.

iManitou, an umbrella board under the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council, has named Roger Miller as COO. Miller has more than 30 years experience in economic development. His role is to help provide information, strengthen community relationships and promote and enhance the visitor experience and support local business.

Centura Health, Colorado’s largest health care provider has named Jeffrey L. Brickman president and CEO of the new St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood. Brickman also serves as president of Centura Health’s Mountains North Denver Operating Group which includes the flagship St. Anthony Hospital, Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster and Summit Medical Center in Frisco. He will join Centura Health in September.

Stockman Kast Ryan + Co. announced the promotions of the following employees: Jon Haddenham has been promoted to audit senior. Haddenham has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming. He will plan and perform fieldwork for audit engagements, identify and research potential accounting and auditing issues and prepare audit reports. He is a member of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce Rising Professionals.

Robyn Handy has been promoted to audit senior. Handy is a licensed CPA in Colorado and has a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She will plan and perform fieldwork for audit engagements, identify and research potential accounting and auditing issues and prepare audit reports. Handy is a volunteer for the United Way and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Johnathan Shankland has joined the Famous Steak House as general manager. Shankland will manage all service aspects of the restaurant operation with specific emphasis on beverage programs and marketing. Shankland has managed upscale food and beverage operations in Colorado Springs for more than 15 years including Starbucks’ original downtown location, Wiseguys Social Club (now 15C Club) and MacKenzie’s Chop House. Among other projects, he will be focusing on social media marketing and community relations.

The Pikes Peak Lodging Association reelected to its board of directors Jim Breeden, Colorado Springs Marriott and Ann Alba, of the Broadmoor Hotel. New members elected to the board were David York of the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Shannon Arwood of the Homewood Suites. The PPLA promotes the lodging trade in the Pikes Peak Region and is active in issues related to the hospitality industry, this includes local and state issues.

Bryan Construction named Gen. Victor E. Renuart Jr. to its advisory board. Renuart retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2010 after 39 years. Most recently, Renuart served as commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command at Peterson Air Force Base. Prior to that assignment, he served as senior military assistant to the Secretary of Defense and Director for Strategic Plans and Policy for the Joint Staff at the Pentagon.
