Volunteer attorneys from the Pikes Peak Pro Bono Project will offer a legal clinic for veterans who are representing themselves in court.

There is no obligation to the people seeking information, and they may remain anonymous. Attorneys always are anonymous to avoid the appearance of solicitation.

Individuals can receive legal assistance in domestic, bankruptcy, eviction, tenant and landlord disputes, foreclosures, consumer issues and veterans benefit.

Attending the pro-bono clinic does not establish attorney-client relationship, and attorneys will not represent people in court.

Thirty minute appointments are available from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13. To make an appointment, call the El Paso County Bar Association at 719-473-9700. Leave your name, phone number and a brief description of your situation. The clinic will be held at Colorado Legal Services, 617 S. Nevada Ave.
