Colorado stocks earned modest gains

Colorado stocks earned modest gains Tuesday, with Evergreen Energy, Sport-Haley and Ciber leading the most active state stocks, according to the Denver Business Journal.

Overall, both the Dow Jones and the S & P 500 closed up, marking the third day of gains.
