All lanes of Interstate 25 North at Woodmen Road will be closed today and tomorrow as the Colorado Department of Transportation paint signs that cross the highway.

The work was originally scheduled for last week, but was postponed because of rain.

Traffic on the interstate will detour via and the off- and on-ramps at Woodmen Road, with traffic lights changed to allow more time for cars to cross the intersection. However, people should expect some increased travel time because of the lane closures.

All lanes of northbound I-25 will reopen by 6 a.m.  Wednesday, CDOT said. The gray structure will be painted mocha brown, the standard color for sign bridges on I-25 throughout Colorado Springs.

Go to www.coloradodot.info/travelInfo/currentcond/ for more information about the lane closures.
