Centura Health has signed its fourth affiliation and services agreement – expanding its reach to Kansas.

The Denver-based group, part of Catholic Health Initiatives, has agreed to coordinate efforts with Goodland Regional Medical Center in Goodland, Kan. The affiliation establishes an expanded system of care for the Kansas hospital.

GRMC is the fourth independent affiliate to unite with the Centura Health network, joining San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center in Alamosa, the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida, and Kremmling Memorial Hospital District in Kremmling.

Centura is moving toward more affiliations as health care grows more competitive and complex. The purpose is to provide health care locally while increasing specialty clinic support and trying to reduce costs.
