Google wallet now open for business
Google Inc. is taking another step toward making credit cards obsolete, and Visa is on board.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the company is launching a product that will allow people to pay for purchases with their smartphones, waving it over a scanner instead of using a credit card.
