Roland Wick joined the consulting staff at McNew & Associates, Inc, a federal government contracting and audit compliance firm. Wick was previously a senior supervisory auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency. He will provide support in the areas of accounting system compliance, government pricing support, proposal compliance review and associated DCAA audit requirements.

Carrie Lanning joins Griffis/Blessing Commercial Property Services Group as management assistant. She is responsible for administrative, organizational and special projects for a portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties.

The University of Denver Sturm College of Law announced the appointment of Eric Bono to the helm of the newly restructured Office of Career Development and Opportunities. Bono will lead a growing team of professionals committed to DU’s strategic vision of producing graduates who are prepared to practice law from day one.

Andrew C. Lillie, a lawyer with Hogan Lovells’ Denver office, has joined the board of directors for the Colorado Photographic Arts Center. CPAC recently merged with Working With Artists, two nonprofit photographic organizations.

Sportz Skillz Indoor Golf and Tennis Center has hired a seasoned general manager/PGA instructor, Doug Wert. He is a graduate of the PGA Golf Management Program at Mississippi State and has been a part of the golf industry for more than 26 years. Wert was in the 1993 Guinness Book of World Records for playing 440 holes of golf in 12 hours to beat the existing record of 398.

Pikes Peak Community Action Agency announced the promotion of Laura Yassa from office manager to Director of Administrative Services. Yassa, who has a bachelor’s degree from UCCS, will supervise PPCAA’s Youth Education Savings program, Transitions to Independence Program and Individual Development Account program.

International commercial real estate services firm Studley announced the promotion of Tom Pappas to managing director from associate director. Pappas will continue to be the sole national and international point of contact for local online marketing company ReachLocal’s portfolio which includes more than 45 properties.

Vladimir Jones, Colorado-based marketing and digital agency, hired Ann Van Orsdel as the new vice president of business development. She has more than 20 years experience leading client services and business development efforts for both small and large agencies.

Scott Dick has been appointed account director for SANDIA Advertising. He is responsible for client relations, strategy, marketing communications and new business development.
