Second quarter GDP grew 1.3 percent

The United States economy grew slightly more than previously reported in the second quarter, bolstered by consumer spending and export growth, said the New York Times.

The nation’s GDP grew 1.3 percent in the second quarter, slightly  higher than previous reports of 1 percent.
