Anyone 60 or over who meets financial guidelines and lives in Colorado Springs or Manitou Springs can quality to receive a monthly box of shelf-stable food. The boxes allow seniors to stretch their food dollar by supplementing their diets with nonfat dry and ultra high-temperature fluid milk, juice, farina, oats, ready-to-eat cereal, rice, pasta, peanut butter, dry beans, canned meat or poultry and canned fruits and vegetables.

Seniors must apply in person and be approved during the application process. They need a picture identification, proof of address and proof of income.
