The National Federation of Independent Business is expanding its discounted workers’ compensation coverage benefits to Colorado.
The latest expansion means that NFIB insurance through Employers is now available in 27 states. Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Arkansas and New Mexico were also added.
Qualifying NFIB members are eligible to receive a 5 percent discount on workers’ compensation policies with Employers.
The goal is to assist small businesses in keeping costs down, said Mark Garzone, senior vice president of marketing for NFIB.
“A strategic approach to risk management and cost control is smart business in any economy,” he said.
