Robert Frank, author of The Darwin Economy, will speak tonight in Berger Hall at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs campus.
Frank is a respected economist and the H. Louis Johnson professor of economics at the graduate school of management at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
His address kicks off a two-day economics conference at UCCS. The conference, titled, “A Brighter Future: Improving the standard of living now and for the next generation,” will focus on the importance of job growth and the impact of our overbuilt and depressed housing market.
The conference, which continues through Friday and Saturday, is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending beyond Frank’s keynote address should register online.
Event parking is free in lots three and four. Frank and other conference speakers will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. to meet with conference attendees and sign books.
