A new Burger King is planned for the intersection of Powers Boulevard and Dublin Road.
The restaurant will follow a new design model for the restaurant called the 20/20 design, which offers a more modern feel that many of the older locations will soon be changing, said Brian Atzer with Westec Construction, which will build the fast food chain’s newest Colorado Springs location.
The new location will cost $654,300 to build, according to local building permits.
The new restaurant is expected to be up and open within 90 days, Artzer said.
“Fast food, fast buildings,” he said.
