Silver Key needs a few good drivers to serve meals to elderly residents and to take them to doctor appointments, the grocery store or recreational outings.
Drivers typically work one four-hour shift a week, and provide door-to-door services. For many clients, Silver Key drivers are their only means of transportation.
Meals on Wheels drivers use their own vehicles to deliver hot meals to clients living independently. Drivers typically work one shift a week and pick up five to 10 meals at the Silver Key offices. The meals are delivered to the seniors in their own homes. For many clients, the person delivering their meal is the only outside contact they have all day.
Silver key is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Driving shifts occur during business hours.
