Key part of workers’ comp rates rising in Colo.

A key part of Colorado’s workers’ compensation rates is going up for the second year in a row, reports the Denver Business Journal.

The “low cost” rates will rise by 3.7 percent next year, following a 3.4 percent increase this year.

The two years of rate hikes follow decades of dropping premiums for workers’ compensation insurance.
