Colorado small businesses employment grew 0.2 percent in October from the previous month, according to job-tracker Intuit Inc.
Colorado’s growth trailed slightly behind the region’s, which saw a 0.3 percent increase, but ahead of the national growth average of 0.14 percent.
The data was gathered from about 70,000 businesses nationwide that have fewer than 20 employees.
Intuit said average hours worked by employees at the sampled small businesses decreased 0.2 percent during the month, and compensation eased down 0.06 percent, to an average monthly paycheck of $2,622.
