The Visiting Nurse Association, a provider of hospice, home care and wellness services throughout Colorado, announced Monique B. Roth is director of business development and sales. Roth has responsibilities for assessing the agency’s position in the marketplace, planning for future growth and enhancing VNA’s mission and service model in the Colorado community. VNA also named Suzette Jacobs as assistant division manager of the Colorado Springs office. Jacobs has responsibilities for supervision of the Colorado Springs’ operations and maintaining community partnerships.

Damian J. Guerin was named vice president for human resources of Aleut Management Services. Guerin is charged with talent acquisition and development, performance management and organizational growth. He will manage compensation and benefits, labor and employee relations and ensure legal compliance with federal, state and other requirements.

The Colvert/Harvey Group at UBS was named as one of the top wealth advisers in the state of Colorado for 2011 by the Denver Business Journal and its partner National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices. Fifty four advisers were chosen from Colorado and The Colvert/Harvey Group was selected as one of only four advisers from Colorado Springs to receive this honor.

Kevin Sullivan and Sullivan & Associates have been listed in the National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices Premier Adviser list, which recognizes advisory practices in Colorado that represent quality wealth management. The firm was assessed in 20 categories ranging from planning and investment to risk philosophy and team dynamics.

Ann Brown, president New Vista Image, was elected to head the Board of Directors of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry, the state chamber of commerce, for 2011-2012. Her Golden-based company, a wide-format digital printing manufacturer, is a division of the Lowen Corporation, headquartered in Hutchinson, Kan. Brown said CACI would specifically be looking for ways to help foster the important manufacturing sector.

Brandt Wilkins, owner of Wet Paint Communications, has been elected chair of the board of trustees of the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has offices in Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins, Grand Junction and Cheyenne to serve the 88,000 people affected by MS in Colorado and Wyoming.

Dan Winter, a partner and marketing executive with Classic Homes, has announced his retirement. Winter, a 10-year military veteran and former international marketing executive prior to joining Classic in 1994, has been recognized for both his award-winning work in the homebuilding industry and his professional contributions to the Colorado Springs’ non-profit community.

Three experienced and highly-skilled agents have joined RE/MAX Properties, Inc. Brian Pfeffer, at the south office; Jennifer Sullivan, at the south office; and John Schinkel, at the north office.
