Gaming board takes no action on casino tax

Increasing gaming taxes for casinos could cost 700 industry jobs and have a negative economic impact of $20 million, UCCS professor Fred Crowley told the Colorado Gaming Commission.

The commission is considering eliminating tax loopholes for the casinos and is holding public hearings around the state.

It has six months to make the decision, reports the Denver Business Journal.
