John Brock, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, is an educator selected by the Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City to participate in its Economic Education Advisory Council for 2011-2012. The council’s focus is advancing economic and financial education and providing expertise and insight in an advisory capacity related to economic education planning, programs and resource development for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

Russell Gruber joined Grubb & Ellis Company, a real estate services and investment firm, as associate, industrial group. He joins Grubb & Ellis from Gruber Commercial Real Estate Services, where he spent four years on sales and leasing of industrial properties. While with the firm he focused on warehouse/distribution, manufacturing and food facilities.

Mark A. Fogg is the new general counsel for COPIC, a medical liability insurance provider and health care advocate for risk management and patient safety. Fogg will work alongside Anne Cox, who will retire in April 2012 after serving as COPIC’s general counsel since 2003. Fogg is the president-elect of the Colorado Bar Association and was the president of the Denver Bar Association, 2008-2009.

Kevin R. Scott, MD joined the practice of Colorado Springs Neurological Associates. Scott has served as associate professor of neurology at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Penn. He also was a clinical neurophysiologist performing neurological intraoperative monitoring for Sentient Medical Systems in Cockeysville, Md., and a staff neurologist at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, Penn. In addition, Scott serves the U.S. Army National Guard and has served two tours in Iraq as a flight surgeon.

Charles Lamb is the new director of marketing for Central Bancorp. Lamb will oversee marketing for all Central Bancorp divisions and affiliates, including Central Bank & Trust, CB&T Mortgage, CB&T Wealth Management and CB Insurance. Lamb moved to Colorado Springs from Farmington, NM, where he was most recently the public relations coordinator for a 250-bed regional medical center. Lamb replaces Jill Johnson, who remains with the company in her new position as vice president of the firm’s family office wealth management division, The Corundum Group.

Cindy Austin is the new client services representative at Rainsberger Wealth Advisors, Inc., a Wealth Advisory Firm. Austin has worked for more than 24 years in the financial and investment services industry as a client relationship manager, operations manager and in compliance.
