AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax preparation service, is seeking volunteers  from across the state to aid with 2011 tax returns.

Volunteers do not need to be an AARP member or a retiree to participate. Tax-Aide is particularly in need of volunteers who speak both English and Spanish.

Volunteers will receive free tax training and are reimbursed on a limited basis for qualified program-related expenses.

Last year, more than 550 Tax-Aide volunteers helped more than 28,000 Colorado taxpayers. They join the more than 35,000 Tax-Aide volunteers across the country that help millions of people each year.
