AFA board to meet in Washington

The Air Force Academy’s Board of Visitors is scheduled to meet in Washington, D.C., Friday to review morale and discipline, and a variety of other issues at the academy.

The board meets regularly to consider changes to curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods and other Academy issues.

Members include: Susan Schwab, former U.S. ambassador; Alfredo Sandoval, managing partner of the private investment group and academy graduate; Sen. Ben Nelson, Sen. Lindsey Graham; Sen. Michael Bennet; Sen. John Hoeven, U.S. Rep. Jared Polis; U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn; U.S. Rep. Loretta Sanchez; U.S. Rep. Niki Tsongass; Susan Ross, owner of Sierra Consulting; Robert Hayes, owner of Mt. Pleasant Hosiery Mill; Arlen Jameson, lieutenant general USAF (ret.)’ Marcelite Harris, major general, USAF (ret.)
