Companies add 206,000 workers

U.S. companies added more workers than anticipated in November, easing concern about the job market, according to a survey performed by a private payroll company.

ADP said the 206,000 gain was the largest this year, and followed a 130,000 gain in September.

A pickup in hiring will also stimulate consumer spending, which makes up about 70 percent of the economy.
