Springs firm could be acquired by international law group

Denver law firm Holme Roberts & Owens could soon be acquired by Bryan Cave, according to the ABA Journal.

Holme Roberts & Owen is headquartered in Denver, but has offices in Boulder, Colorado Springs, Dublin, London, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City and San Francisco. The firm employs 175 attorneys, with 15 in its Springs office.

Its practice in Colorado Springs covers startup and high-tech businesses, professional and nonprofit sports, charitable organizations, educational institutions and religious organizations.

Bryan Cave has no offices in Colorado, but employs about 1,000 attorneys in 29 offices, including offices in Asia and Europe.
