Colorado’s local, state and utility companies need better communication

A task force said the state doesn’t need an authority charged with deciding where to put big powerlines, but it does need better communication between groups.

The Denver Business Journal is reporting that building new powerlines has been a political hot potato in recent years. The legislature passed a law last session to consider a statewide authority to help coordinate the effort.
