Stimulus funds still untapped in Colo.

Ten Colorado programs have spent less than half the money awarded them under the 2009 stimulus funding, according to reports in the Denver Business Journal.

Expiration dates for spending the money  is coming up quickly, said the state auditor’s office.

Offices with unspent money include a broadband mapping effort and training weatherization workers. A University of Colorado program to develop a program to train workers also has money left.
