Gerrit Slatter, PE, PTOE, vice president and director of transportation at Matrix Design Group Inc., passed his Professional Traffic Operations Engineer exam.

Locally owned Campbell Homes has promoted Chelsey Perfumo to community sales manager for its new home community in Indigo Ranch. She has extensive background in both customer service and new home sales and will be responsible for the daily management and community sales for all Campbell Homes in Indigo Ranch.

Local nonprofit leader Jody Enget, executive director of the Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center, has been named board president for the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International Board of Trustees. The PATH Intl. executive committee also includes Jim Harlan, vice president; Arlene Alen, secretary; Tom Winsor, treasurer; and Kathy Alm, past president.

The Board of Directors and staff of ProgressNow Colorado, the state’s largest progressive online advocacy organization, named Joanne Kron executive director. Kron comes to ProgressNow Colorado from the Denver-based Gill Action Fund, where she most recently served as managing director focused on the organization’s communications, message development, and research.

BKD CPAs & Advisors promoted Stephanie Schmuecker to manager. She has been a member of BKD National Health Care Group and its Center of Excellence for community health centers and has more than seven years of public accounting experience.

Kumar & Associates, Inc. welcomes Jonathan R. Lovekin, P.G. to its Colorado Springs office as a professional geologist. Lovekin has an M.E. in geological engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Colorado. Lovekin has more than 20 years experience and has specialized in mitigation of geological hazards for land development and engineered structures.

Marjorie Noleen has joined the staff of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado as the director of marketing and events. Noleen graduated from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a bachelor’s degree in business in 2001. Since then, she has work at several companies along the Front Range in a variety of positions in the fields of marketing, communications and event planning. She is currently pursuing an MBA in marketing and health care at UCCS.

Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs has elected Steve Condon, president of CB&T Wealth Management, LLC, as 2012 chairman of its board of directors. Chris Odell, network communications executive, will serve as chair-elect. Goodwill’s board of directors has two new members: Michael Cafasso, vice president of operations, Centura Health — St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center; and Donald Spradlin, physician.

The Goodwill Foundation has re-appointed Phil De Vries, senior vice president, BBVA Compass Bank, as its board chairman and Sue Mulvihill, investment banking executive, as chair-elect. Goodwill’s Foundation board is joined by the following new members: Jerry Grage, founder/chairman/CEO, COLOMEX, Inc.; Mari Sinton-Martinez, vice president and board member, Moniker Foundation; and Jim Spittler, principal/founding partner, NAI Highland Commercial Group.
