U.S. corporate growth at two-year low

U.S. corporations ended 2011 with the lowest profit growth in two years, according to Bloomberg.

The slowdown in profits occurred mostly in companies with global, European ties. Other companies, like Macy’s, have seen a comeback in profits as the economy improves.

U.S. corporations overall saw a 6 percent gain in profits in the third quarter.
