Pinnacol: Rate increases likely

Pinnacol Assurance says premiums for workers’ compensation insurance will continue to increase about 5 percent a year, regardless of whether or not the state allows it to be a private company.

The quasi-governmental insurance agency has suggested that it go private, reports the Pueblo Chieftain.

The entire industry is looking at increases, according to Pinnacol’s leaders.
