Ski maker is moving to Boulder

Head USA, which makes skis and snowboards, is moving its winter operations to Boulder, reports the Denver Business Journal.

Head once had a ski manufacturing plant in Boulder, but skis are now made in Austria. The winter division is currently headquartered in Connecticut.

The company has seen a boost in business in recent years, and that’s one reason for the move.

Head makes the skis for Olympian Lindsey Vonn.
