A new sandwich franchise is slated to open in University Village this March.

Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is a Texas company with locations in 22 states, including 12 in Colorado.

“Outside of Texas, we have more stores in Colorado than anywhere else,” said Which Wich communications director Hala Habal. “Our Colorado franchisees have a really strong presence and are really committed to growing the brand in the state.”

Which Wich makes innovative made-to-order sandwiches in a trendy modern environment, Habal said.

Construction on the University Village location is already underway and the franchisees are scouting for a second location, Habal said.

The company has 10 stores in the Denver metro area and one in Grand Junction. There are 150 in the country with another 50 in development, Habal said.

University Village is an ideal location for the sandwich franchise because they tend to do well in lifestyle centers where there is a lot of foot traffic with individual shoppers and families, Habal said.
