El Pomar issues $1 million in grants across state

The trustees of El Pomar Foundation met recently to consider grant proposals.

They approved 57 grants totaling more than $1 million. The organizations receiving grants represent 26 counties across the state of Colorado.

Front Range Grants

Colorado Springs Youth Sports Complex Inc. – $15,000

Colorado Uplift – $75,000

Colorado Veterans Resource Coalition – $25,000

Denver Botanic Gardens – $50,000

El Paso fountain Valley Senior Citizen Center – $15,000

Festival of Lights – $10,000

Friends of Castlewood Canyon State Park – $1,000

Hands of the Carpenter – $5,000

Historical Society of Idaho Springs – $5,000

Home Front Cares – $20,000

National Archery Association of the United States – $5,000
