Consumer spending in U.S. stalls

More Americans are saving money, but that effort is stalling consumer spending, reports Bloomberg.

Americans used a jump in income in December to replenish depleted savings accounts, indicating that the biggest part of the economy – consumer spending – might not be a factor in economic recovery.
