Boulder among most-affluent U.S. cities

Boulder ranks 12th in the list of most affluent cities in the country, according to the Denver Business Journal.

About 8 percent of the city’s population make more than $200,000, according to a analysis of U.s. Census Data.

Edwards, in Eagle County, came in number two in the state, and 20th in the nation, with an affluence rate of 6.3 percent.
