Springs Rescue Mission received a $100,000 Daniels Fund grant to support the expansion of its Life Recovery Center, which houses its New Life addiction recovery program for adult men.
Since 1996, Springs Rescue Mission has been providing critically needed food, clothing, household supplies and services like the New Life Program to homeless and struggling families in the Pikes Peak region.
The money will be used to double the capacity at the Life Recovery Center.
Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable television, established the Daniels Fund to provide grants and scholarships in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. For more information, please visit www.danielsfund.org.
“The completed Life Recovery Center will save our community over $4 million annually in associated services for men who would otherwise be homeless or in the justice system,” said the Rescue Mission’s CEO Joe Vazquez. “This generous gift from Daniels Fund clearly benefits both the men involved and the community we serve.”
