Public unions invest heavily in Colo.

Public-sector unions were among the largest donors to committees that helped elect Colorado officials, according to the Denver Post.

State campaign finance records show that the unions contributed director to legislative campaigns, as well as to political action committees that help elect people to office.

Most of the committees, which do not have financial spending limits, spent money to elect Democrats to state-level offices.
