Four golfers who participate in the May 17 Mayor’s Cup golf fundraiser will have a shot at winning $1 million if they can make a hole in one.

At the golf fundraising event, held at The Broadmoor,  Mayor Steve Bach will sign four golf balls and place them into golfer sleeves. Golfers who find one at check-in will have a chance to shoot in the Windstream Million Dollar Shot Contest.

Golfers will take their swing at the 18th fairway. A hole-in-one wins $1 million, paid in a 40-year annuity.

“We’re happy to be the presenting sponsor of this exciting part of the Mayor’s Cup,” said Cliff Donnelly, Windstream regional director. “It’s even more gratifying to support the Spirit of the Springs program in the community I call home.”
