Landlocked Colorado is getting a new attack submarine named after the state.
The USS Colorado is one of five being commissioned for states that have not have a ship named for them in nearly 50 years.
Other states being honored include South Dakota, Illinois, Washington and Indiana.
Navy Secretary Ray Mabus (MAY’-bus) says the new submarines will be able to launch cruise missiles, carry naval commandos and conduct surveillance.
we do NOT NEED 5 new subs ..
. … who are we gonna invade next ? Syria ? Iran ? Venezuela ? All the steel for these subs should be for new hydrogen engines & inter urban intra urban rail & wind electric generators http://www.hireLarryFireBobby.com 843-926-1750 @VoteLarryDis114
