Brunswick Zone XL will open its location near InterQuest Parkway and I-25 Wednesday, April 25.
The 50,000-square-foot facility has 36 bowling lanes, a two-story laser tag arena, video game arcade, billiards, large-screen TVs, and a bar and grill.
Brunswick has been interviewing and hiring staff for the new location and announced this week that it has brought 125 new jobs to the far north end of the city.
It’s location at 1180 InterQuest Parkway marks new activity at Nor’Wood’s Marketplace at InterQuest development, which is also home to the Chedder’s and Colorado Rocky Mountain Brewery.
The brewery has seen enough success at the location to warrant an expansion to the Roundhouse building at Highway 24 and 21st Street on the west side of town.
The bowling-and-entertainment venue is also near the still-vacant 300-room John Q. Hammons Hotel, which construction contractor Flintco won in foreclosure early this year and is trying to sell to someone who will finish it.
Mike Marquez, Brunswick general manager, said InterQuest is an ideal location for the center.
“Our private event space is perfect for parties of all sizes from kids’ birthday parties to family get-togethers to large corporate events,” he said in a statement.
Staff reviewed more than 3,500 job applications for the 125 full- and part-time positions he filled, Marquez said.
