Colo. AG opposes special wildfire compensation fund

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers doesn’t like a Republican suggestion to compensate victims of the Lower North Fork Fire, reports the Denver Post.

The fire started from embers from a state controlled-burn fire to control brush, and Suthers says claims for damages should go through normal legal channels.
