Lockheed passes milestone in weather-sat development

Lockheed Martin has passed a major milestone in developing the next generation of weather satellites, reports the Denver Business Journal.

The aerospace company passed a government-mandated critical review of the satellite, which will hover over various spot above the Earth and provide weather information.
