Hickenlooper signs state budget, hospital measure

Gov. John Hickenlooper signed into law yesterday a bill that requires hospitals to offer discount plans to low-income patients, according to the Denver Business Journal.

The new law also requires hospitals to clearly state their charity plan and to offer payment plans.

In a ceremony yesterday, Hickenlooper also signed the 2013 budget.
