The Colorado General Assembly will also tackle business bills when they meet in special session starting Monday, said the Denver Business Journal.
The session will cost about $23,500 a day, and Gov. John Hickenlooper said he will make the parameters tight in order to allow the General Assembly to work quickly.
Civil unions, a bill to lower business unemployment taxes and $70 million in water projects are among the seven topics to be discussed.
