U.S. producer prices fall for first time in months

Wholesale prices for U.S. goods dropped in April, fueled mostly by lower gasoline prices, and easing fears of inflation, said Bloomberg.

The producer price index dropped .2 percent in April, after remaining flat in March. The 1.9 percent increase over the past 12 months was the smallest since October 2009.
